So I'm taking a break to finish off this commission piece i did and upload it here for the benefit of all mankind, who will benefit from it (see gallery for zombies). The band that hired me is called PFIC, and you can hear some of their songs at [link] . Good stuff, IMHO.
But now that that's over & done with, i can get back to my first love, which is my comic book, the GRIFTERS. Someday soon, you'll see it in bookstores and comic shops around the country, and hopefully you'll buy it, and more hopefully, you will like it.
I've been wrestling with the idea of posting it all online for the world to read for some time. I drew a webcomic once, didn't enjoy it as much. Still don't. I like comic books. I like turning pages. I like owning them. I like pulling graphic novels off my bookshelf and flipping through them, appreciating the fine details that just don't appear on screen.
And while i know that artists can get notoriety by posting their works online, it's seems that only rare cases turn into anything other than notoriety. Maybe someday I'll believe that this crazy Internet thing can turn out more successful comic artists than traditional means, but until then, it's print for me.
Am I old fashioned? Clinging to old, dying notions of entertainment? I guess so... and I may well be very wrong.
But it's my dream... how can i argue with that?

Here ya go! They forgot the teardrop on the first go, but when I get it touched up here soon I'll have it added back on.
Thank You for sending me the pics! I'm gonna show all my friends. Can I ask for the name of the tattoo artist?
